has dedicated itself to be your complete online shopping
directory for the safe online purchase of pharmaceutical,
health, and wellness products and services. We do not carry
a product line, nor are we a store! Our objective is simple
- to provide unbiased information on dozens of online pharmacies,
drugstores and health-related websites.
In a way, you, the consumer, helped to create WhichDrugstore.com.
Our parent company, European-based Anakena.com,
a leading firm in e-Healthcare, had received numerous requests
for safe, reliable on-line pharmacies and health stores
from where to order. In direct response to these requests,
the concept for WhichDrugstore.com was born.
From the very beginning, it was clear what criteria were
important to the average consumer - website navigation,
customer service, privacy, secure ordering, and product
range, availability, versatility, and prices. With said
criterion in mind, we began a Search,
Test, Review,
and Approval
Process (or,
as we affectionately call it - STRAP)
of online pharmacies, drugstores and health-related websites
in order to make them accessible to you on this site.
The first edition of WhichDrugstore.com was launched in
July 2001- a simple version, but with a versatile selection
of stores. Realizing that online consumers have different
needs and personalities, we aimed (and will keep aiming!)
to include approved stores for everybody.
Since our original launch, we have continued searching for
new websites. In June 2002, after a remarkable first year,
we released the second version of WhichDrugstore.com - a
newer, more modern design, complete with the same great
services. We can credit you for helping us with this second
version - many of your own recommendations have passed our
STRAP and are
included among the Select Stores in our directory.
To date, many hundreds of sites have been screened of which
few have been selected and approved. And, our work will
continue - WhichDrugstore.com won't stop here. We will continue
our research of online pharmacies and health stores. We
will continue updating the site.
We would be happy to hear more of your comments, suggestions,
and ideas, all of which will be taken into consideration
for further site improvement. After all, the original idea
of this site formed from your needs, and the changes we've
made to date have occurred from your suggestions and recommendations.
